Romford Town Swimming Club/Romford Otters Learn to Swim [email protected] Romford Town was the first swimming club in Havering to be given the Swim 21 and Sport England awards

Romford Town Swimming Club has been providing a swim school in Havering and the surrounding communities since its inauguration on 16th September 1900. Now boasting some 400 members, we take pride in our family atmosphere and remain dedicated to providing the highest level of coaching from Learn to Swim right through to international competitive swimmers. Romford Town is one of the largest and most successful clubs in Essex, being Essex Age Group Trophy Winners for the past 5 years and having a number of swimmers selected to be on Regional and National development programmes. Romford Town Masters swimmers also hold a number of National & International titles as well as holding various British and European records. Romford Town Swimming Club achieved Swim 21 accreditation in Skill Development (Silver Award) and Sport England Clubmark recognition during the summer of 2005. Swim 21 is the Amateur Swimming Association/British Swimming’s nationally recognised Club Development Programme, centred on the needs of swimmers.

🎄🎅 Is it too early to talk about Christmas?

Not at RTSC! 💙💛

We’re already getting ready for our Christmas Cracker Meet 🎄🏊‍♀️ — and this one is a great opportunity for Essex swimmers looking to gain their 2027 County Championship qualifying times, or improve on times they’ve already achieved.

📅 12th & 13th December 2026
📍 Harrow Lodge Leisure Centre

Entries are now open via Gala Organiser — don’t leave it until Santa’s too late! 🎅🎁

Come and join us for a weekend of fast swimming, festive fun and plenty of Christmas spirit! 🎄💙💛

Entries for this meet will be taken through Gala Organiser. Please use the link below to submit your entries:

http://www.galaorganiser.co.uk/entry/meetentry.php?Meet=ROMLCC26

This is a first come first served meet basis, so early entry is advised to avoid disappointment. Entries are now open and will close on 22nd November 2026 or sooner. Due to the popularity of this event, we have had to close entries earlier in past years, so please send your entries early.

Please ensure your club's or swimmer's name is clearly referenced as "ROMLCC2026 plus your club's or swimmer's name" for any correspondence by email.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Meet!
