Quick holiday workout with minimal equipment

The hotel gym only had dumbbells up to 7.5kg and a small barbell / cable machine that was in use when I got there

So just threw together a quick full body circuit with the dumbbells, a kettlebell and a box

10 box jumps
20 snatches
10 thrusters
20 incline push ups
10 deadlift and row (to be clear I wouldn’t usually pair these exercises together if I had more weights available because you can deadlift more than you can row 😆)
20 kettlebell swings
Few mins rest
Then repeat x 3

It’s great to follow a set lifting training programme so you can focus on progressive overload rather than always mixing it up

But when you go on holiday and the hotel gym doesn’t have much available or there is no hotel gym

Doing something over nothing is always a great idea!

Body weight workout, a little jog, bike ride, swim or getting involved in any hotel sporting activities available

If you might have dumbbells available, you could save this circuit to do when you’re away 🙌🏻

Personal reminder 😆

I’m sorry but there was a crepe station?? With a chocolate fountain? 😍

You pay £10 a pop for those in London 😆

And I love them so much I may have had pancakes with 3 meals in the first 24 hours

Had to remind myself this isn’t my last ever chance to eat a crepe

And instant gratification = feeling rubbish

Long term gratification = enjoying the holiday and feeling good

My little step towards this was not having a crepe at lunch and just having one at dinner with a little amount of melted chocolate not letting my plate swim in it 🤣

It’s so easy to get carried away at the buffets but feeling much better now I’ve reigned myself in and returned to my balanced plate

No stress just vibes x

I don’t like cooking

And I don’t want to spend time in the kitchen (especially not when it’s 30 degrees)

But I do want to eat

Nutritious and filling meals

So this is one of my go to quick and easy summer lunch meal preps

I take it with me to the splash park, the zoo, and prep it in advance to eat at my desk

Simple and in my opinion, tasty

But I admit my taste buds don’t do exquisite meals so if it’s too bland for you, I’m sure you’ll know how to jazz it up 😆
