A weekend turning 38!
Two days doing my favourite things - eating, training, walking and seeing my little circle of amazing people (and dogs!)
I got the standard few ‘ooo you’re getting old now ‘ comments,but I have to say, I feel the strongest and fittest version of me so far!
I’m not sure how to say this without sounding arrogant but I know I’m healthier than the average 38 year old and probably look a little younger.
And I truly believe this is down to living an active lifestyle, eating well, and training CONSISTENTLY!!
I’ve just kept going since giving up sport and built a life full of healthy habits, staying mindful of my sleep, food, training and more recently stress levels.
Living a healthy life consistently is definitely the key to longevity, and is something a make a huge point of with my clients.

Working in an industry that can be so heavily focused on aesthetics , it was amazing yesterday to run a Men’s Health Workshop and have some real conversations about the stuff that truly matters.
How to optimise our health to live happier, healthier longer lives!💪🏻
I am very passionate about helping people overcome the challenges that modern day living throws at us and how to navigate it in order to achieve and maintain our health.
So it was amazing to have open and honest conversations yesterday about struggles with stress, alcohol,food, sleep and training but more importantly, guiding people with strategies to help improve all these areas.

We ALL need more downtime where we are not being emailed, called, txted, WhatsApped or DM’d!
Time for us, where we can truly just focus on ourselves and disconnect from the fast pace of life .
And what better way to do it than when you are at the gym.
It will help maximise your workout with minimal distractions so you can just focus on working hard and the movements you are performing.
And it makes that hour 💯 about YOU! Re energising yourself instead of giving out to other people.
