It all started in London with a big dream:
to create more community, more creativity, and more connection through children’s yoga.
From there, our passion took root and blossomed - weaving through family yoga, workshops, and eventually growing into adult teacher training and global online offerings. Along the way, we’ve trained over 350 incredible teachers from around the world from South Dakota to South Africa and Devon to Doha, and every one of you has been a part of our story. We’re so grateful!
Covid shifted the way we work and with Emma based in Brighton and Siobhan living in Johannesburg, we found ourselves reaching hearts and homes across the globe through our online trainings.
While that’s been amazing, we’ve come to realise that we’re being called back to our roots - to work more locally, more intimately, and in ways that feel grounded and connected.
We therefore will no longer be continuing as a partnership but moving on separately but still very much connected through our yoga tree.

Wild Tree Yoga says goodbye!
Dear Wild Tree Yoga & Children's Yoga Tree Family,
We are officially announcing that from September, Wild Tree Yoga will no longer be running online training courses and Emma and Siobhan are moving on to exciting new projects in our local communities in Sussex and Johannesburg.
Wow - what a journey it’s been! Nearly a whole decade of sharing our love for yoga with all of you - from playful kids' classes to deep, soul-nourishing teacher trainings. Whether you joined us in a family yoga class, a workshop, or one of our 40 or 200 hour teacher trainings, please know that it has been such an honour to have you not just as students, but as part of our growing, ever-evolving community.
This hasn’t been an easy decision, but it’s one that feels wholesome and aligned. We're choosing to focus on bringing our teachings directly into our local communities - into schools, studios, retreat spaces and classrooms where we can be fully present and involved.

Enhanced Mind-Body Awareness
Embodied movement deepens the connection between physical sensations and mental/emotional states, helping individuals become more present and attuned to what their body is communicating.
Emotional Regulation and Stress Relief
Moving with awareness can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reduce cortisol levels, and create space for processing and releasing emotions in a grounded, non-verbal way.
Improved Physical Health and Vitality
Practices like yoga build strength, flexibility, and balance while also supporting healthy posture, circulation, digestion, and overall energy flow (prana/life force).
Trauma Integration and Nervous System Healing
Gentle, intentional movement can help release stored tension and trauma from the body, supporting nervous system regulation and creating a sense of safety and resilience from within.
These are just some of the benefits we get when practicing embodied movement such as yoga.
