📝 3 Save Goalkeeper Fitness
🎯 Try to have the goalkeeper pause, even for a half second at each midpoint. This will force a second re-setting moment + create a bit more of a balance between reps that can be translated to game moments vs strictly fitness
🧤 Angle Shot Stopping
🎯 I used multiple touches to force the GK to re-set before seeing the shot, testing his weight distribution and whether he could avoid losing his hips while recovering from different angles and distances

🎯 Focus on quick turns and a balanced set.
Shot locations are announced, but the timing is not.. so the goalkeeper must move quickly, regain balance, and be ready to decide between catching or parrying

1️⃣ I wanted to pair quick changes of direction with a multi-rep set to work on acceleration and deceleration, with a fitness component attached to it.
2️⃣ This was done at the end of the session, and while it was an overload day, I wouldn’t do more than 2 reps per side.
