It’s been a minute since our last update — and what a wild ride it’s been since we took the reins of the Rodds brand. Can you believe we’re already a month into 2026?! Time’s flying when you're forging padded weapons and building dreams. ⚒️💥
Since stepping into the arena last year and taking over from Tom, it’s been nothing short of a rollercoaster — full of steep learning curves, long days in the workshop, and some truly humbling moments.
🚀 By the end of 2025, demand for our premium padded sticks absolutely exploded, and we’ve been blown away by the love and support from the stick fighting community. Seriously — you guys showed up in force, and we’re beyond grateful.
Behind the scenes, we’ve been grinding hard. We’ve massively upgraded our production setup, scaled up capacity, and made it our mission to meet this new level of demand while staying true to our promise: same-day dispatch with stock ready on the shelf.
It’s taken time — juggling upgrades while still producing to order — but we’re now fully operational and in the thick of our restocking phase. The shelves are starting to fill.
But that’s not all…

⚔️ 36” Two-Handed Padded Katana/Sword
A first-of-its-kind beast featuring a new high-impact solid PVC core, double-thick foam, and a built-in foam hand guard (Tsuba). This is serious kit for serious training.
🥊 31” Battle Stixx – Long Padded Sticks
Inspired by the legendary Dog Brothers and RCSF — these are built for those who bring real intensity to the fight.
🌀 Padded Sparring Nunchucks
This one’s been a journey — engineering nunchucks that can survive full-contact without self-destructing is no joke… but we’re nearly there!

A day packed full of exciting demonstrations and taster sessions – showcasing the vast variety of ways one can strike, clinch, grapple and express themselves!
We spent the day catching up with old friends and making many new ones! Days like these are when we can come together as one community of like-minded individuals from all walks of life, representing lots of different styles & systems and sharing in what makes us all similar rather than different.
Thank you Lucci and the whole team for putting together such a fantastic event and one which has grown year on year. Superb!

Our first live event! - and wow it was super fun!
Bruce Lee - Rise of the Dragon 2025 was just fantastic, great organisers, great venue and great guests!
Packed with engaging Bruce Lee content presented on 2 large screens throughout the day with a real nice mix of supporting presentations, demos and live talks.
We can't wait for the next one - which we've been promised should take place next year!
Absolutely highlight was getting to meet and chat with the 83 year old and truely awe inspiring Ted Pollard, who's capabilities at the young age of 83 are honestly mind bending. What an absolute star, he's as graceful in person as he is on stage - look out for his book which should be releasing in the coming months at all major book stores.
Not to be missed! His lifes work is laid out for all to see, laugh, cry and enjoy. What an incredible human being ❤
