Looking forward to seeing our students back in class and training.
Robin Hood students Mondays/ Fridays 3.15 - 4.15 pick up 4.30.
All other students 4.30 - 5.45 pick up 6.00pm.
When we know exactly who is returning we can adjust or extend class time for senior grades on Fridays.
We will not be taking on new members until we have settled in existing members.
For those returning, thank you for wishing to continue training and your valuable support in rebuilding our club after the Covid lockdowns.
We shall continue to use the same Covid precautions used in Robin Hood school and those of the Coombe Academy trust for the foreseeable future.
Best wishes to all our students past and present on the beginning of a new school year.

Dear members and parents,
All being well with the covid situation classes will resume at Robin Hood Primary School on Monday 13th September also on Fridays.
Due to the effect the covid pandemic lockdowns have had on our membership, we are consolidating our club and rebuilding at the school we began. Therefore we are sorry to inform you that we will no longer be offering classes at Coombe Hill juniors or Infants School.
A text message has been sent to all members, if you have not received this please contact us and we will rectify this.
Otherwise, we hope to see you in September. I will text out more details after clarifying the situation with Robin Hood Primary in the first week of Autumn Term September.
Until then we hope you have a great summer, stay cool, stay safe,
kindest regards to you all,
Sensei Paul and Sensei Nathan
PS, Don't forget to check out Karate at the Olympics.
Wishing all our members, parents, family and friends a happy Christmas and very best wishes for the New Year.
Stay safe and well focusing on the light at the end of the tunnel.
Looking forward to seeing you all again.
Kindest regards,

Certificates for February grading
Matsumura Rohai for 2nd Kyu Practice
Sunday's grading consisted of 9th, 6th and 5th Kyus in action.
After a warm-up from Sensei Nathan, the grading commenced.
Graders performed Kihons (basic techniques), Renraku waza (combination techniques) and Katas: Pinan Ichi, Heian Nidan, Heian Shodan, Heian Sandan, Heian Yondan and Heian Godan.
All the students gave it their best and filled the hall with spirited Kias' (shouts).
As always there is room for improvement and some techniques requiring further attention, but all in all a good performance by all, creating a solid base from which to move forward.
We would again like to thank parents for your continuous support, giving up your hard earned rest over the weekend to sit in a hall and watch your children perform for a full two hours.
We hope you enjoyed the grading as much as we did and that you enjoy the rest of the half-term.
Students, don't forget to Renshū!
