Everyone who knew this legend ‘Mick Carney MBE’; knows the impact he had on so many of our lives. I feel he had a little influence on me after he was gone, allowing me to cross paths with another legend and putting me in his care, ‘Capt Andy Haines MBE’.

This trip was long overdue to ‘Carneys Community based in Battersea’. George and the team, Giz, Ibs and everyone else at Carneys Community are no doubt making you smile up there. The boxing club and community centre is thriving. You can see the magnitude it has on the peoples lives that get to use the facilities and services. Legend is the correct term, as you’ve truly left a ‘Legacy’. Til we meet again, 🥊❤️💯
