It's good to be back 🏉

Two weeks later than planned, we have our first senior fixtures of the 2026/27 league season to look forward to 👀

The 1XV are on the road at Heathfield & Waldron and the 2XV open their account at home against Westcombe IIIs 💪

George will continue in his VC role for the 1XV and Kiryn will officially take on the VC role for the 2XV after essentially covering for Loz's absence last year 🏉

I'm sure everyone is looking forward to hearing more of George's rousing pre-match speeches 👀

With the new season just around the corner, now is a great time to introduce the select few that will be leading Park House into battle 🏉

Ben Barker will be taking up the reins as 1XV skipper after a successful stint in the VC role and Loz Morgan will continue in his capacity as leader of the mighty 2s 💪

Best of luck to both captains and their respective teams for the upcoming season ⚫🔴

Inflatables are up, the sun is shining, the bar is stocked and the b**r is cold - getting ready for our Season Opener party. From 3pm til late. Come down and join us

We're looking forward to our Season Opener party tomorrow - from 3pm to late.

In the afternoon there will be inflatables and games and activities for kids being run by Sporty Stars. You can try your hand at Lacrosse and walking touch rugby. Everyone can join in.

In the evening we have a band, Spicy Notes, performing.

We have a live band, Spicy Notes, who will be playing 3 sets from 7:30. And during the afternoon there will be inflatables and games and activities for kids as well as a walking touch rugby fun tournament that everyone of all ages and abilities can join in with.

Multiple heatwaves and the subsequent drought has unfortunately pushed the league season back a couple of weeks due to the unforgiving conditions of the pitches in the county 🏉

However, we have a pre season fixture Vs (4G pitch) to look forward to instead!

This is a 1s and 2s mixed game so, if you are available, please let the powers that be know if you haven't already 🔴⚫

Having enjoyed all extremities of weather while playing throughout the year, we seem to coordinate with weekly rainbows lately.

We’ll be checking out the moon rises soon as earlier nights are finding us, but with a little floodlight help, we played on after the rainbows last night and at the end of another great Thursday evening the mustards narrowly beat the ketchups 🏉

Roll on next Thursday when the ground might be a little greener ⚫🔴
