A productive and energising day with the Board of Trustees at the Asian Sports Foundation.

Great to come together for today’s meeting, followed by a focused strategy session where we explored our priorities, ambitions, and the opportunities ahead. These moments are invaluable in ensuring we continue to grow our impact and deliver meaningful outcomes for the communities we serve.

We were also delighted to welcome a number of new trustees to the Board. Their insight, experience, and fresh perspectives will be a real asset as we move forward.

Thank you to everyone for your time, commitment, and continued support — exciting times ahead!

Meet Sufiya Khan from Rajasthan, the woman who ran her way into history!

In 2019, she completed an unbelievable journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, covering 4,035 km in just 87 days!

Her feat earned her a Guinness World Record as the fastest female to run across India.

What started as a personal challenge soon turned into a symbol of courage, discipline, and national pride. Sufiya ran through all kinds of weather, terrains, and states from the snow of the north to the heat of the south proving that mental strength can conquer any distance.

Since then, she’s continued to break records, including completing the Golden Quadrilateral run of 6,002 km in 2022.

Her story is a reminder that true endurance isn’t about speed — it’s about spirit.

From a dreamer in Rajasthan to a global record-breaker, Sufiya has truly shown that limits exist only in the mind!
