Link to Hope Autumn Fair, West Wickham

So so sad that dear Dumitru - Slavic's much loved father în law - has passed away. We hope that Slavic will now be able to join us in the Spring.

As many of you know, we have had to postpone the Shoebox talks that we had planned with Slavic Duman from Moldova due to his father in law Dimitru suddenly being taken ill. Sadly Dimitru has now passed away - an amazing man who glowed with his faith and was talking to people about Jesus right to the very end. He will be sorely missed by his family, community and church and we are thinking of everyone at this sad time particularly Slavic who now has so much more to do.

Everyone who booked a ticket to one of the talks was offered their money back but almost everyone has asked to keep their ticket till we can arrange for Slavic to come again, hopefully in February next year. We may also be able to add some extra talk locations. Hold your loved ones close.

On the 4th anniversary of the war in Ukraine please pray for our project managers - Zina, Alex, Max, Misha, Nicoli, Alexandra, Ludmilla and their families and friends. We can't imagine what they are having to endure but they continue their work knowing they are making a difference to peoples lives at this terrible time. Please pray for peace and for a just conclusion to be the final outcome.

I'm so happy with our Link to Hope Christmas tree at the St. Francis of Assisi Christmas Tree Festival. It worked as well în practice as it did în my head!! Thank you to Adam - for constructing the metal 'skeleton' and to Heather Showell and Samantha for helping assemble and decorate it. So many Christmas trees being put up, the Festival will be well worth a visit! 🎄🎄🎄🎄

The Link to Hope team are out in Bulgaria delivering some of this year's shoeboxes, to people who will so appreciate them.
