NKC O Plate
Quali group A: p20/28
Not an ideal qualifying, felt pretty on the back foot with my lack of wet weather experience.
Heat 1 group 2: p20/28
Same story for the second heat my lack of wet weather experience clearly showing as I struggled with keeping my tires in the window.
Super heat group 1: p15/29
The super heat was thankfully dry and managed to make good progress through the pack, gaining 5 positions.
B final: p4 ➡️ p27 ➡️ p13 (otr)
Started the b final in 5th after turn one I found myself in fourth and in prime position to make the transfer to the A final, unfortunately I hadn’t properly warmed my tires on the outlap and some overzealous braking lead to me spinning it into Christmas. I managed to fight back through half the grid before the race was cut short by a slow yellow, and a drop down only pushed me further down the order.
All in all a big learning weekend, being my first national competition, the pace was definitely there in the dry however wet weather driving clearly needs a lot of work, hopefully I can apply all the takeaways to the next big race. Big thanks to the team .dperformance and my mech .dunford, the kart was mega 🧡🧡🧡

RHKC R4 + First time on a Xenon
Quali P8: engine troubles relegated us, however it was a very tight grid
Heat 1: P8 ➡️ P6
Not much to say, made some moves and kept clean was a decent heat.
Heat 2: P7 ➡️ P3
Made good progress in this heat and found the pace with the xenon, and the now solid motor.
Final: P3 ➡️ P2 ➡️ P11
Pace was very strong at the start, however luck turned when another driver made an interesting move spinning me on the exit of stadium. We dropped down to the back of the grid, made our way through a couple of positions but penalties dropped us back down and that was all she wrote.
Pace was there luck was not what can I say 🤷
Big thanks to the team .dperformance and mechanic .dunford for all the work, first time out on a xenon and it went well all things considered. And thanks again to for the photos

Another weekend ticked off ✅
Quali: we don’t talk about quali
Heat 1: engine wouldn’t start but hey
Heat 2: p10 ➡️ p6
Final: p7 ➡️ p5
Pace looked strong on the Saturday not sure what happened on the Sunday, came in feeling drained and just couldn’t get the kart to free up how I wanted, but improvements nonetheless. Big thank you for the effort from the team .dperformance and the GOAT .dunford. As always amazing photos from we look well euro 🙏.

RHKC R1 report:
Dry running on the Saturday with strong pace all day only for the wettest Sunday of my life 🙃
Quali: P7
Heat 1: p7-p12
Bogging on the start lead to a concertina effect, resulting in me getting driven off into t1 by the time I managed to pull my kart off the other guy I was 1 lap down.
Heat 2: p8- dnf
A good start lead to me running in 5th however a snapped rear bumper bolt, despite still being attached via the bumper protector, lead to a mechanical dnf.
Final p13-p7
A strong start to the final making up 5 places, unfortunately some engine bogging on corner exit stopped me from capitalising on my new found confidence.
All in all a pretty sub par weekend, but grateful to be back in the kart after a good year and a half. I feel like I’m starting to build back that confidence, bring on r2.
I’d like to say a big thank you to .dperformance & .dunford for all the support, making me feel at home and helping me build confidence over the weekend
I’d also like to thank My Dad for driving me back and forth from the track and for the amazing photos
