It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former Belvedere boxer, George Wilkinson. 💔

George was an instant hit at the club, with tremendous ability and a personality that made a lasting impression. He will always be remembered with great affection. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Delighted to announce that Joash has officially been selected to be part of the England Performance Squad and will represent England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 at international Elite level.

From club shows at the Belvedere Working Men’s Club to earning national recognition, this is a fantastic achievement and a true testament to his hard work, dedication and commitment.

Great to see another home-grown Belvedere boxer delivering at the highest level.

We are incredibly proud to have received the London Borough of Bexley Civic Recognition Award for Outstanding Achievement.

This recognition is not just for sporting excellence inside the ring, but for the positive impact our club has made across the wider community. Over the years, we have worked hard to support young people, families, and vulnerable members of our community, providing a safe environment, positive role models, and opportunities for personal growth and development.

Boxing has always been about more than winning titles. It is about building confidence, discipline, resilience, and helping people overcome challenges both inside and outside the gym.

A huge thank you to the London Borough of Bexley for this honour, and to the Mayor, Christine Catterall, for presenting the award.

We are grateful to everyone who has supported our journey and look forward to continuing our work within the community. We also look forward to working with the new Mayor, Lisa-Jane Moore, in the year ahead.
