We’re so excited to welcome Choreographer Attila Andrási and musician Jo Thomas to The Playground this Friday ✨
Attila (he/they) is a Hungarian, London-based dance artist and practice-led researcher whose work spans choreography, somatics, and neurodivergent perception. Their work explores rhythm, atmosphere, embodied attention, and sensory awareness through slow and immersive movement practices.
For this Playground session, Attila will guide participants through a deeply attentive movement practice focused on minor gesture, sensory detail, and subtle rhythmic shifts through the body. Working individually and in pairs, the session welcomes all levels, particularly those drawn to slow processes, rich sensory experience, and embodied exploration ✨
Joining Attila is the wonderful Jo, composer, musician, artist and dancer whose work has been presented internationally across sound art, experimental music, and performance. In 2012, Jo received a Golden Nica in Sound Art from Prix Ars Electronica for her work Crystal Sounds of the Synchrotron.
Working with intricate digital glitches, textures, noise, and live responsiveness, Jo creates expressive and immersive sound worlds, and we’re so excited to welcome her to The Playground for the first time 🎶

✨ We’re so excited to welcome back Nikki Forova ✨
This Friday, Nikki joins choreographer Chevon Edwards for a special collaboration — and we couldn’t be happier to have her back in the room.
Nikki is a Ukrainian composer, recording artist, and singer-songwriter whose colourful expressivity makes her a truly captivating performer. Classically trained as a pianist, Nikki weaves virtuosic piano and vocals with strings, drums, bass, and improvisation — creating live performances that feel both high-flying and deeply grounding.
With four albums released, an MTV appearance, and tours around the world, Nikki’s music connects with audiences on a visceral, deeply personal level. In recent years, her work has expanded into film, contemporary dance theatre, and TV trailers — including Bridgerton Season 2, Nuclear Family, Victoria’s Secret, and Netflix’s Mountain Queen. She’s also one of the leaders of the Woven Gold choir in London.
We can’t wait to see what unfolds in the studio this Friday 💫

✨ We’re excited to welcome back William South ✨
This Friday, William joins choreographer Daniel Lukehurst for a live collaboration — and we’re really happy to have him back in the studio.
William South is a vastly experienced composer, improviser, and multi-instrumentalist whose work spans the dance world, TV & film, and live performance. He has toured internationally, released numerous albums, and worked extensively both as a freelance player and with his own bands.
After being MD and co-composer on Punchdrunk’s The Drowned Man (2013/14), William became deeply immersed in the world of dance, working regularly as an improvising accompanist around London — particularly at Trinity Laban and with English National Ballet. He is also frequently commissioned to compose for new works and has collaborated with choreographers including Sarah Dowling, Gerrard Martin, Jo Meredith, and Feet off the Ground.
Alongside this, William maintains a regular schedule of small jazz gigs and mentors bands on the Trinity Laban BAMPI degree course.
We can’t wait to see what unfolds from this collaboration 🎶✨

We’re excited to welcome Choreographer Daniel Lukehurst back to the Playground this month.
✨Daniel is returning to the Playground with a session rooted in exploration rather than fixed outcomes. His work often centres curiosity, physical listening, and shared discovery — creating space for dancers to tune into sensation, connection, and play. ✨
This session will explore the idea of free fall. Through contact, sensation, and playful interaction, Daniel is interested in how dancers can tap into a sense of freedom — allowing movement to unfold through trust, responsiveness, and shared momentum. Expect an open, exploratory space where curiosity leads the way.
🎶 We will announce the musician joining Daniel very soon — keep an eye out for updates!
