A trip to the north east for one of the big derbies today and Just 4 days after completing League 1 I re-completed the Championship as Sunderland took On Middlesbrough in the Tees-Wear Derby.

For part 1 of todays Double was a trip to Woking to see Westfield take on Chipstead in the isthmian South Central league
Chipstead took the lead 20 minutes in when Kabuikusomo Cooly slotted home but they were only ahead 5 minutes when Ndombe was slipped in and he squared to Envoudou Ada and he bundled home.
Chipsfead went back in front 6 minutes before half time when Hood decided to have a drive from 30 yards out and the keeper couldn’t get a strong enough hand to it.
Westfield levelled when Amate crossed a great ball in and Walters rose to head home from close range
With 7 minutes to go Chipstead went back in front when Dixon fired into the roof of the net but 2 minutes later Envoudou Ada skipped through and equalised but picked up a knock in the process and neither side could find a winner.

Part 2 of todays double and a visit to Kingsmeadow to see Chelsea Women take on Reading Women in the evening game of the WSL in a snowy south west London.
Chelsea took the lead in the 16th minute after a quickly taken free kick Kaneryd squared it to Kirby who tapped home.
They doubled their lead 12 minutes later when Kaneryd’s shot came off the post then Cankovic tapped home her first goal she soon doubled her tally when she headed home Cuthberts cross.
Reading pulled a goal back just before the hour mark through Troelsgaard whose shot squirmed under Berger and then 2 minutes later Eikeland side footed home.
After that Reading couldn’t find the equaliser nor could Chelsea add to their tally as it started to get colder and the snow started laying.

After the strikes were cancelled I decided to go somewhere a bit further out today and it was a choice between Leamington and Belper United but I decided to do Leamington who took on Nuneaton in a Warwickshire derby.
After a slightly dull first half it remained like that till 10 minutes from time when 10 was played through by Richards to Waite and he kept his composure to fire home and sent the 200 away fans mental.
Then just 2 minutes later they were awarded a penalty but Hawkins made a fine save to keep it at 1 and deny Stenson.
