London Ki Aikido

Aikido is martial art where both your mind and muscle are stretched. It is based upon a philosophy of harmony rather than aggression.

As it an art that is adapted to your own form, It is practised by men and women, young and old and to any shape and sizes "Aikido is a way to create a situation where it is difficult to attack. If an attack does not happen, defence is not necessary. I think this is the only way for peace."Doshu Yoshigasaki

We have started to collect some memories on why club members started practising AIkido in the first place. These can be found here Why I started Aikido These aren't necessarily why we are still practising, rather I hope they give an insight into some of our initial thoughts and motivations.
