Having been largely absent from social media for over a year, whilst on maternity leave, I'm going to be back at work in January.
π
Throughout the Spring and Summer of last year I had lots of wonderful feedback from those of you who attended my fitness sessions and self defence classes and you'll be glad to know that I will be resuming these in the new year.π
π
I will be available to teach strength training + boxing/self-defence from Monday to Friday between 12 noon and 2pm at my home gym/N20.
I am also offering my Zoom classes.
π
These will be either 45 minutes, or hour long sessions.
π
With caring for my little baby, my time for training is rather limited for now, so it will be first come, first served. I will be adding more slots as we progress through 2023.

Thank you to everyone that has attended and supported my Female1st Self-Defense Workshops π€.
I'm going to be taking a little break with my workshops but can't wait to get back to coaching in the future.

I'm nearly 4 months pregnant π€°and don't feel i will be doing the classes justice just sitting and watching on the sidelines!
I will be still doing my PT sessions for my regular clients π€

A small bio of my Martial Arts journey.
-
I started at 9years old in a traditional Martial Arts, Goju-kai Karate. Bruce Lee and my Father's love for Martial Art films were my inspiration!
-
At 29 i started Shidokan Karate which is a full contact Martial Art. I took my Goju-kai black belt off and started from white belt. Shidokan is described as a thriathlon of Martial Arts as it includes Mauythai, Brazilian Ju-jitsu and Traditional.

I'm 41 and and a mother to a 7yr old. I still practice with Shidokan GB and want to encourage as many woman to get into Martial Arts and self-defence.
The benefits are endless and it's shaped my life in the most positive way.

I've been invited by to give a self-defence class and speak about all things safety and how to protect yourself. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone. π

Most people I ask is for weight loss goals.
What if I told you training to lose weight only contributes a tiny bit. π€

π₯The benefits of what ever chosen workout or sport you love has soo many more wonderful benefits.
* mental health
* help maintain muscle mass
* helps build bone density
.to name but a few benefit.

π₯Diet is the biggest contributer for losing weight/fat.
You can't OUT TRAIN a BAD diet.
