Very fitting to see the Captain and Pro Steve and Mat win the Captain's Challenge Final yesterday, alongside their caddie Gary Greengrass. Steve and Mat have been like two peas in a pod all year, and their 4BBB medal score of 60 yesterday came out on top.

Credit to L. Maguire & C. Redhead (2nd) and P. Lanham and M. McHugh (3rd). Thanks to the Captain Steve for making the competition possible under a brand new sweep format, and battling through injury to complete qualification matches throughout the year. This is what WMGC is all about.

The club and its members wish to thank Mat for his incredible commitment to the club, and his many years of service to the Pro Shop. You'll be sorely missed and we wish you the very best in your next role.
