Tight hips, glutes & hamstrings? Scissors on the mat is a great way to stretch these targeted areas. Not only this you’ll be also teaching your body how to control these areas as well as working your pelvic lumbar stabilisation - in other words…. Working the deep core, muscles & ligaments all around the pelvis/lower spine into the lower part of the body through a controlled and dynamic movement.
If you haven’t done pilates before you might be looking at this and think this is an unrealistic goal, but believe me movement heals and you’ll be here before you know it!

Flexible hamstrings and lower back health is a thing! By keeping your hamstrings happy you’re keeping your lower back and pelvis in optimal alignment and avoiding any potential injury. One of the easiest muscles to stretch so don’t forget….

The look of concentration 🤓
My favourite way to get that Tricep burn 🔥 and such a great way to open and release the hips with some hip extension too. A little snippet from classes this week (excuse the talking to camera) 😂
No equipment needed!
10 reps finishing with a tricep hold glute kick x10 - x3 sets! Trust me you’ll feel that tomorrow....
