A big thank you to Darshil Shah for your hard work in organising “Championing Innovation, Sustainability & Access in Cricket” on the 22nd September at St John’s College, Cambridge.

It was brilliant to see people trying out the Re-Willow prototype bat. My favourite comment “This just feels like a Cricket Bat” Is the best compliment one could wish for at this stage of development!

We are taking feedback from the day and now building pre-production tools, including our integrated handle rather than the “traditional” cut out method, which may have snapped at the end of the session! But thats the fun part as we learn!!

Some quick video footage below shows, finally, not me in my shed talking about it! And next up will be Prem league and Pro feedback once the next bats are ready.

Done it!
Tricky few weeks combining our handle, veneer and Re-Willow blade, but it’s working!

Looks a bit rubbish. That’s next.
First we’re taking a bunch into the nets with some proper cricketers who know what they’re doing, so you can see it’s not just me saying it works 😉
Exciting times.

Cape Town and a whole load of tributes here. Make everything personal, it’s always brilliant!

Just out the tool! Our first integral casting with high wood content and density.

It’s a big step forward, the handle is moulded as one piece elastomeric, packed with recycled rubber from electrical cables giving us flex and vibration dampening while cutting time and cost.

Production will bring a bigger curve, more bow and thicker edges.

Next is the wood veneer, then final tooling.

Re-Willow will make excellent performing cricket bats from the 90% of willow trees that is discarded at a fraction of the cost. To re-iterate, this is not for the professional game, but for the vast % of world cricket that simply cannot afford to keep up with the rising costs. Lets allow everyone the opportunity to play.

Launch Autumn 2026, Black Fox leather goods. Yes, it will cost more. But you’ll be handing them down to your kids in 30 years.

And not everyone wants go-fast stripes on everything!

Dead Man’s Fingers.

A more detailed look at how these work, samples are ready and we have 20 Beta testers ready to trial!.

The original design was produced as a modified glove back in 2015. Since then, a more applicable and ergonomic version allows these to be put in any glove that has ever been made.

Really like these, and looking forward to an official launch next season.

Embarking on a journey with

Laurence and his team’s work on sourcing from “fallen” trees, and turning this into the most stunning products, it’s honestly art.

This amazing individual, family and brand is trusted globally by the world’s most prestigious sports car, super-yacht and many prestige brands.

Why, easy, just have a look at what they do.

Just because our bats are affordable, it doesn’t mean we’re cutting corners. Together we’re creating a bespoke veneer to beautifully replicate the look of perfect Grade A English willow from sustainably sourced materials.

I can’t thank Laurence and the team enough, this is very very exciting!
