Grim's D**e Golf Club - Hole 8 09/09/2026

Hole 8 - The first of back to back par 5s. The back tees push the yardage to over 510.

Big hitters will fancy their chances of getting home in two but beware the out of bounds all down the right side of the hole and the fairway campers to the left with the copse ready to block out those that hook their drive.

The green is one of the flattest on the course but also one of the longest so judging the pace will be crucial.

More success for the inform Lady Captain, this time in the HP8 roll up.

Can Jo add a third major title to her name this weekend in the Pratt Cup?

04/09/2026

This weekend we hold the 36 Hole Stableford Club Major the Pratt Silver Jubilee Cup.

Will we have the same excitement as the last major the Blanch Salver?

Five players shot a nett 66 but claiming her 2nd major win, well done to Jo Lassman!

Jo came out top on countback from Tracy Gorb, Ray Nelhams, Paul Little & Paul Ellis. Hard luck to those 4 but still a couple of majors left in the season to get their names in lights.

🍓🍹 It’s 12pm somewhere… right? 👀

We’re bringing a little taste of summer to the clubhouse with our Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri! 🍓❄️

Because sometimes the best way to celebrate a good round is with a cocktail in hand… and sometimes you don’t even need the good round. 😂⛳️

Who’s joining us for one? 👀

Grim's D**e Golf Club - Hole 7 02/09/2026

Hole 7 - A very testing par 4 measuring 400 yards - one of the toughest holes on the card.

Most players will struggle to make the green in two shots.
Long hitters need to be aware of the pond on the right of the hole ready to swallow errant drives.

All players will face an uphill approach to a two tier green. - When walking down the 4th hole players can check the pin position on the 7th green.

Well done to the GDGC Rabbits in the local derby against Pinner Hill last week!

31/08/2026

It has been great to see so many juniors out on the course over the summer holidays.

I doubt anyone has clocked up more holes than Senan Hehir & Archie Little.

Both have been practicing hard and the work paid off at the Pinner Hill Junior Open last week as Archie won the tournament and Senan finished in third!

Well done boys on a fantastic summer of golf.

Captain Lorenzo and everyone at the club super proud of you both.
