As many of you will know our annual Open Day is the highlight of the Finches calendar and it was the next thing in our diary before the fire.

It's been a tradition of ours for many years and a chance to get together with some live music, gluhwein and brilliant people.

And whilst we can't hold an open day, we are excited to announce an Apres Ski party at the Foresters Arms on November 22nd - hosted by our friends .

We don't have a building but we have so much more to celebrate, and that's our wonderful community who have rallied and supported us.

Come and join us in your apres ski wear , or in actual ski wear!

Come join our Superman and Finches this weekend at the annual Muddy Hell cyclocross race at
We want to show the cycle world the support of Finches Emporium and its community.

Its an incredibly fun event whether your there to race or spectate. There is racing for all ages and abilities.
We would love it if anyone from the Finches community could come down and show some support.

Finches has been in our family since 1947, when we proudly sold affordable second hand furniture in wartorn London and we've been at the heart of Forest Hill community ever since. It was in that very building that Frank was born, and Frank is who we all need to thank for turning his love of the great outdoors into the ski, snow and bike shop we all know and love.

And whilst the fire may mean we've lost our home, and that there's no bikes to service and no ski boots to fit, there's one thing it will never take away and that's each other. To the Finches community who have rallied around us during our darkest days we thank you a million times over.

The building may be replaceable, but all of you are not.

We are touched beyond words by the Go Fund Me page set up by our friend Kerry. We appreciate each and every person who has donated to it.
