The midweek 9.30am class is a Yoga on the Lane classic, super-popular since we opened back in 2012. And so we’re super-chuffed to be back at to a full set with Elisa’s new Thursday class. They’re a great classes to get you going for the day or recharge after drop-off, but they’ve always also been really social sessions with a great sense of community among the local freelance massive. Elisa’s leading one tomorrow and it’s super to be a ripper.

Lovely to have Sofia Soares covering for us on Saturday. She found yoga 7 years ago whilst searching for a way to unwind from a finance job and was drawn to the movement meditation quality of the practice and the moments of introspection it provides. Her classes are fluid, meditative and nourishing, grounded on breath and creative sequencing that builds from the ground up. And we think you’re going to love them!
I think what’s so lovely about a self-practice and about developing one, is that it becomes like a sketchbook or a journal. A space where you can play, explore, and leave little imprints of a particular moment.
As a teacher, or a trainee yoga teacher, it’s also where you gather your ideas. It’s where you begin to understand how to explain the things that feel good in your own body, and hopefully share that joy and expression with others.
It’s where you learn to modify, adapt, and consider all the different things that might come up in your classes.
That’s why we begin our teacher training with a self-practice module right at the very first weekend, because it’s truly a gift for life - something you’ll never lose. Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, you’ll always have the tools to pause, check in, and reconnect with yourself.
Our teacher training begins this November at Yoga on the Lane and graduates May 2027. We have in-person and online spaces left but it is booking up.
For enquiries, reach out soon.
Our Teacher Training starts November this year! If you’ve been considering it, now is the time to reach out. We can’t wait to get started!

Tonight, lovely Aine is teaching her last class on a Monday for now. She’s going to pivot to a monthly Sunday session. We’re still working on the details but it will be all about building a community of regulars looking for a flowing, nourishing check in with a teacher who intuitively understands the importance of togetherness and breath. Come along tonight at 7.15pm to get a feel for her warm and welcoming style.
