Wednesday evening road rides.
Are you thinking of riding with us and would like to know more about our road rides? Drop us a message in the comments below.
On the 2nd of September, we'll all meet outside our shop at 6:15 pm and ride a flat 30 miles.
Here's the route:
Richmond, Brompton-on-Swale, Scorton, Atley Hill, Streetlam, Danby Wiske, Yafforth, Thrintoft, Great Langton, Scorton, The Crown , Brompton on Swale .
All are welcome. All we ask is that you can ride 30 miles non-stop and are comfortable riding in a group.
I look forward to seeing you soon! :-)
Please note:
This is an informal social ride and is not a professionally guided ride.
Everyone is responsible for their own safety and their own equipment (including their bike). Everyone should look out for each other and, most importantly, we want everyone to enjoy themselves!
Some great drone footage from last night, courtesy of Ian Dixon. Cheers, Ian!

Another amazing turnout for the off-road e-bike rides. Such a shame it was the last one of the season, but with the nights drawing in fast, your safety is paramount to me!
Keenan tested the Caygill MTB long-sleeved jersey and loved it! For this to go into production, I will need at least ten orders, which will need to be paid for up front. We also need some more ideas for our group name, as this will be added to the jersey once I decide on the best name.
Look out for a daytime ride over to the lakes in October. It will be on a Sunday, with the date to follow.
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in these wonderful evenings. We have all met friends and had so much fun together. This isn't the end of our rides; it's only the beginning of something amazing!

Keenan’s looking forward to our e-bike ride tonight, and he’ll be testing out our prototype long-sleeve MTB jersey. What are your thoughts on it?
PROPERTY MARKING THIS EVENING:
Tuesday 25th August between 17:00 - 19:00 NYP are running a property marking event in Catterick Village, at Booth Memorial Institute (Booth Hall) 32 High Street Catterick, DL10 7LL.
Dot peen marking involves using a tungsten carbide-tipped pin to indent an object with dots to create a visible, permanent unique number. This removes scratching of paint on items which isn't always effective.
Equipment we can mark would be items such as but not limited to, bikes, digital equipment, computer equipment, horse tac and tools. The machine will not mark glass or ceramic.

This place is a home from home. There's no better feeling than opening up the business every day and just smiling. Some people ask me what makes a successful business and how you can sustain being in the cycling industry. My answer to that is simple: I love what I do, the people I have met and served over the years, and I personally think one of the most important things to have in any business is to wake up every day wearing your smile and just be kind.
My passion for cycling and two wheels is beyond words. Every time I click into the pedals and set off on a new adventure, there will be a story at the end. Whether it's a solo ride, a ride with the Wednesday Wheelers, or one with our new e-bike riders, the fun, camaraderie, and friendships I make along the way are simply beautiful.

Wednesday evening bike shop rides.
On the 26th of August, we'll meet outside our shop at 6.15 pm and ride in two groups to Reeth.
For those who like to test themselves and each other, I thought it would be nice for them to set the pace back to Richmond and see who is the first back to The Turf Hotel Richmond.
For those who enjoy a gentle spin out after work, they can ride with me, enjoy the scenery and chat about life.
So, there's something here for everyone.
Who's coming??
