A really important point for any new mum to keep reminding herself of
SELFLOVE!

We discuss this in our classes every week.

Look after yourself so you can look after your baby.

It’s good for the soul, body and mind to take time out and be on your own.

It’s okay!

You are allowed to do what makes you happy too!

Encourage partners to be more involved and more confident in looking after baby, so mums can have more breaks!

We always encourage mums to teach dads the baby massage and the baby yoga routines so that dads can spend quality bonding and fun time with babies; whilst mums take some time out to relax!

Massage of the week - Back massage!

A relaxing back massage is essential for babies to help them release the pressure of being on their back for most of the day.

Bonus of the back massage is that babies get tummy time in as well.

Massaging babies backs will be a great distraction from being in their tummy of they don’t like tummy time (and let’s face it most babies don’t like tummy time to begin with)!

Baby Yoga

A fun and interactive class set in a friendly environment for both mums and babies to enjoy.

The classes include a dry baby massage routine to warm up babies, enjoyable baby yoga routine including rhythmic movement with lots of songs and rhymes along the way to help babies develop and strengthen.

We also like to look after mummies with our gentle post natal yoga (No previous yoga experience required) which focuses on relaxing tense muscles, stiffness around the neck and shoulders and helps improves mums' posture, abdominal and pelvic floor muscles.

We provide all you need for during the weekly sessions such as yoga mats, Fresh towels and weekly illustrated handouts to help you practice at home.

The Happy baby pose…. Have you tried this yoga pose?


The pose is appropriately named “happy baby” because while you’re in this position — lying on your back and holding your feet — you’ll resemble a baby lying happily on its back. Who hasn’t stumbled upon a baby in this position while lying on a blanket or in a crib?

Babies are naturally very flexible and baby yoga is a great to keep this flexibility and allow babies to learn about their bodies and enjoy them!

We harness their natural ability and show them how to use their bodies, whilst strengthening muscles and building balance.

Baby yoga great for body and mind…. Both for you and your baby.
