Special Mention goes to Zara Addicott for receiving a Can You Dance pass for their super convention in October as well as the IVMT scholarship. The award was received at the Hotshot Finals in February and the SYWTD Regionals in March, we are tremendously proud of this young lady for her perseverance and tenacity not to mention her incredible performance ability and smile, which undeniably lights up any room.

Good luck to our Junior and Intermediate C&P Team as they partake in the regional for Follow Your Dreams Competitions

It shall be a first-time competition for some of these members and we are incredibly proud of their hard work.

Special Recognition - Zara and Rubi Addicott.

These two young ladies were the recipients of our DFU Dancer’s of the year 2023.

Whilst we always try to ensure awarding these young ladies separately, avoiding grouping them as one, as of course being twins they so very often receive recognition as an item, rather than for their individual efforts, we unfortunately found it most difficult last year to seperate these two.

Both Rubi and Zara received results, marks and awards equally marking improvement within their dance career, though in different spheres and aspects of their dance, both were outstanding in their efforts last year.

It was based upon the above that we could not give the award to one without acknowledging the other.

It was our absolute pleasure to award these two beautiful girls Dancer of the Year 2023.

Congratulations to both Rubi and Zara on receiving this fine award.
