Scottish International Open Qualifier, Saturday 17th September 2022 9:00am – 10:00pm
The first matches for this qualifier will start at 09:00 with a 1 hour 30 minute slot, next matches at 10:30 etc until the final at 8:30pm.
2 BIBC members and 3 members from other local clubs have entered - why not come and support them?
World Indoor Bowls Championship Qualifier, Sunday 18th September 2022 8:30am – 11:00pm
The first matches will start at 08:30 with a 1 hour 30 minute slot, next matches at 10:00 etc until the final at 9:30pm.
Last year's winner was Wayne Willgress who went on to reach the semi-final at Potters, losing the final end of a tie break to Paul Foster, who then lost in the final to Les Gillet in the final end of a tie break. Other local players have qualified for the finals at Potters, including Lee Harris who won the Men's Championship at BIBC in the 2021-22 season at our finals weekend in April. Nick Brett, the 2016 World Champion, played in the qualifier at BIBC in 2015.

What a fantastic team of ITOs at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

If you need any bowls clothing or equipment then Forsey’s will be at the club on Thursday 10th March. Also if you need your outdoor woods stamped for the summer season then bring them along and they will send them off for you.

Well done to the ladies today who beat Folkestone in the Vivienne Trophy.
