Shaolin Quanshu Kung Fu is a martial art suitable for all. Kung-fu is basically translated from Chinese as having the meaniing "hard work".
Quanshu means "art of fighting". We teach everything from basic self defence and traditional forms, right through to weapons training and fitness. We also include the mind, body and spirit and how one can grow in all aspects of life. Our goal at Shaolin Quanshu is to help our students develop a balance in their lives, and we offer the perfect balance of physical fitness, practical self-defense and character-building. self-discipline to suit all of your needs as a martial artist.

βIt looks like fun and gamesβ¦ but moments like this build skills children use for life.β π
In this exercise, our students work together as a team while learning to listen carefully, react quickly, and stay focused under pressure. By following instructions together in a fast-paced, positive environment, children develop coordination, confidence, self-control, communication skills, and respect for others β all while laughing, moving, and enjoying themselves. Activities like this help children come out of their shell, build friendships, and learn that discipline and focus can be exciting as well as rewarding.

What a fantastic day it was. A group of clubs and instructors who are committed to having great collaborations with friendly sparring as the central purpose, but also providing a safe environment where students can interact with likeminded martial artists outside of their own clubs.
We are not a competition based group, but at our events we do provide lighthearted competitive bouts for a bit of experience for novice fighters. No medals, no trophies and definitely no ego!
If your club is interested in joining our network please contact us directly.

International Free Sparring Network.
Here is a perfect example of what the Intenational Free Sparring Network is all about.
There is obviously a size and weight difference between the two fighters but the larger fighter is controlled and allowing the younger one some space to perform his techniques.
Giving him the confidence to experiment without worrying about getting hurt is a real character building process!
He is showing a lot of respect and at the end gives him a little bit of feedback making the whole experience a lesson in how to treat each other during these kinds of interactions. No ego, just learning.
We are welcoming clubs on board with this sort of traditional mindset of respect and growth.
Please direct message us if you are interested in coming along to the next event. ππ½
