💫LNC New Season Launch Event💫

Thank you to everyone who came to our 2026 Season Launch Event on 4th March, generously hosted by TMK. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with other women from across the insurance industry, with a delicious spread of nibbles and cocktails. It was fantastic to see so many new faces, and we hope the evening gave prospective members an insight into what LNC has on offer, an opportunity to meet the committee, and a sneak peek at the exciting events calendar for the 26-27 Club Year which kicks off on 1st April. Last week some of our members took part in the inaugural Lloyd’s vs RMAS sports fixtures alongside the Lloyd’s rugby and football clubs, which took place at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst.

Congratulations to the LNC team who came away with the win, and thank you to RMAS for the warm hospitality, we look forward to next year!

The 2nd Lloyd’s Mixed Netball Tournament brought plenty of action to the Copper Box Arena! 🏐✨

Price Forbes, Inigo, Munich Re, and LNC/LRFC topped their groups and advanced to the knockouts, setting the stage for some brilliant matches.

After hard-fought semis, the final saw Munich Re take on LNC/LRFC — with Munich Re sealing the title in a 5–2 win! 🏆🎉

Congratulations to the LNC members who represented the club at the Law Society 7s tournament yesterday in Richmond. After winning their pool, and quarter and semi final games, the team came out on top of a tough fought battle against Freshfields in the final. The game ended on a draw, and following extra time the teams were still equal, but LNC super shooter scored the golden goal to carry the team to a victory 💙 we are so proud of the girls bringing home the trophy for a second/third year in a row 🏆 A huge thank you to the Law Society for hosting another fantastic tournament, and to LNC committee members Sharmaine, Tara and Izzy for all their work behind the scenes getting us there! 🙏🏻

Earlier this week, LNC hosted our annual new season launch event at Boki Bar thanks to our club sponsor, Howden. It was a fantastic evening with over 40 members and guests meeting for an evening of nibbles, drinks and great conversations. Plus we raised over £400 for our chosen charity, , a leading UK charity using sport to accelerate gender equality and social change.

🏆Corporate Cup🏆

On Wednesday, 21 LNC members competed at the annual Corporate Cup tournament, hosted by NSL’s London Pulse at the Copper Box Arena. The two LNC teams, Thunder and Storm, faced each other in the first game with Thunder taking the win by 3 goals. We are hugely proud of everyone who played and in particular team Thunder who went on to win the Cup for the second year!🏆

A huge thank you to London Pulse for hosting another fantastic tournament, we can’t wait to come back next year 🙌

✨Law Society 7s 2024✨

Congratulations to this wonderful team of LNC members who competed at the Law Society 7s in Richmond yesterday. After winning their pool, the team entered the knock out stages of the Cup, and following a nail biting final against Barclays Legal, LNC came out as winners of the Cup competition.

✨LNC Inter-Club Tournament 2024✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to last night’s tournament. Thankfully the weather held out and it was a fantastic evening of netball with some excellent skills on display.

Congratulations to Cyclones, captained by Tara Pells, who came out on top after a thrilling final against Flames, captained by Annie Webb, to be crowned winners of this year’s tournament🏆

Last Thursday, the Lloyd’s Netball Cup returned for its third consecutive year, and what a spectacular event it was! 🎉

240 women from across the insurance industry gathered for an early start, eager to compete for the prestigious cup. A total of 24 teams fiercely battled it out on the courts, showcasing incredible talent and determination and scoring a staggering 933 goals throughout the day!🏐

Marsh emerged victorious, securing the title for the second consecutive year. Congratulations to Marsh! 🏆 We would also like to congratulate our plate champions, Guy Carpenter!

A heartfelt thank you to our club and event sponsors, team captains, players who participated and the spectators who came along to support their teams. Your energy, enthusiasm, and dedication made the day unforgettable. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year! 🌟

Congratulations to our Lloyd’s Thunder and Lloyd’s Storm Teams for their outstanding performance at the London Pulse Corporate Cup 2023! An impressive achievement for Thunder, being crowned The London Pulse Corporate Cup winners of 2023!

Storm also delivered a remarkable performance by winning 6 out of their 8 games.

Overall, it was a fantastic achievement for both Thunder and Storm, and their success reflects the commitment and talent within the Lloyd's Netball Club. Congratulations once again to all the players, captains, and supporters who contributed to this memorable victory!
