Yoga Nidra is not simply rest. It is guided rest with awareness. And that distinction changes everything. 🌙
Unlike sleep, where awareness naturally fades and shifts, Yoga Nidra gently invites you to remain present as the body moves into deeper and deeper states of rest. The result is a unique space between waking and sleeping that science is only beginning to understand.
Swipe to find out more about what actually happens in Yoga Nidra and how it differs from sleep.

Sleep and Yoga Nidra are not the same thing. Here is why that matters. 🌙
When you sleep, your mind wanders unconsciously. You have no awareness of where you go or what happens. When you practice Yoga Nidra, your body rests completely while your mind stays gently, consciously aware. You are guided through layers of experience that sleep may not reach.
One restores the body. The other restores everything.

Moving 360 degrees around the mat is not just creative. It can be medicine for the body.
And the teachers who have done Emma Landolt's Elemental Flow training felt exactly that. Earth, water, fire and air woven through three days of movement, breath and elemental wisdom that works the body in ways a linear practice simply cannot reach.

Sharing this moment in time with all the students who know her. Here is Charli in Devon this weekend marrying her soul mate and love of her life Matt. Their four awesome kids Oliver, Nirvana, Eliot and Margot (who sang, performed, gave speeches, danced, organised and even cleaned up) are truly such a testimony to the deep soul connected love and incredibleness of these two human beings. Moving and joyful and magic in equal measures. 💗💗💗
