Not all heroes wear capes. They have chunky fingers and make you chop your beer. Our Player of the Match had to be club legend Rory Kassapian.

Kass unfortunately due to injuries & a big boy job hasn’t played as much as he would of hoped this season. But he came through in clutch when it mattered most scoring at the final play, sealing a must win game with for the 1XV. Well done Kass.

Wow, still getting over that one.

What a win against Canterbury last weekend in the last play of the game. A great game from both sides but a big second half saw the Barnes men prevail.

This win means the Barnes 1XV finish 4th in National League 2 East for the 25/26 season. A rollercoaster season where the boys ultimately would have wanted to finish higher. However, with some super tight games and strong wins, there is plenty to be proud of. Not only for our 1XV but for our 2XV and Outriders too.

And just like that, the season comes to an end today 😢

Just the sole fixture this weekend, The 1st team travel to Canterbury in what is an important match for final league standings.

An absolutely stunning day for it- we’re looking to finish the last block with 3 wins out of 3.

Our Players of the Match from the weekend.

For the 1XV it was Crabbers. A great game well deserved.

For the 2XV it was Lodgey. Our very own hulk. Lodgey did indeed smash, a huge defensive performance.

For the Outriders it was Theo. The no.8 put on a great all round show, Well done mate.

And just like that, we had our last home game of the season and what a game it was. A strong win over a physical Guernsey puts the 1XV a littler closer to securing that fourth spot.

A tough outing for the 2XV against a loaded Champ Two’s team. Let’s put this one down to the morning KO. Similarly, a huge challenge for the Outriders against a strong Hammersmith & Fulham team. The men did well to stick in it.

The Penultimate Weekend of the season has all three of our Mens teams in action.

1XV have their final home game of the season welcoming Guernsey Raiders to The GSP. Looking to fight for every point and secure that fourth spot in the league, they boys are undoubtably going to leave it all out there today. ⏰KO at 2.30pm!

The 2XV are into the semi-final against local rivals Richmond Vikings. ⏰The lads will be playing an early KO 11.30am on their first team pitch (very kind). 

And finally, The Outriders will be looking to get some revenge on Hammersmith & Fulham, as they journey over to Hurlingham Park. ⏰KO at 3pm.

Musa joins us this season and has given us an extra edge, with his pace and versatility. He’s told us he’s played 13 different positions since being at Dorking… Whilst the conventional ho**er scores at the back of mauls, he likes to dive over the line (and into the Thames)….

Stand guard. For the 1XV it was Giles Bromley-Martin. After 6 weeks out the former soldier was solid at centre in both attack and defence.

For the 2XV it was Tom Wood, who stepped in from the Occies to lend a helping shoulder. Woody was absolutely banging blokes, top work.
