meeting on last Friday(9/1/2026) and decided Nirojan will be the captain again for 2026 season.

Coach Spotlight: Sayanthan “VVS” — A Journey of Cricket, Resilience and Giving Back
This edition of Coach Spotlight introduces Sayanthan, known to many as VVS — a man whose life has been shaped by cricket, resilience, and a remarkable commitment to helping others.Former BTCL registered Old Hartleyites player. Congrats to for his achievement as a coach.

In November 2019, VVS’s life changed dramatically when a car accident left him with a traumatic brain injury. This forced him to sell his business, and in 2021 he moved to Aylesbury to be closer to family and support his recovery. Recognising VVS’s cricketing background, one of his brain-injury therapists suggested reconnecting with the game. That advice led him to Cublington Cricket Club, where then-Chair Michael Reilly encouraged him to get involved in the junior section — and where VVS earned his first coaching qualification.
The early planning stages and soon became a regular coach and key contributor. Thanks to his support, Game Changers continues to expand, with plans for an additional weekly session and fixtures for children and adults from In November 2025, he successfully completed his ECB Core Coach qualification and continues to deliver weekly sessions as Game Changers grows from strength to strength.
