Hace unos meses, en la catedral de St. Paul’s de Londres, tuve un encuentro transformador con Juanita Incoronato, una coach astrológica con una dilatada trayectoria en la comprensión de los movimientos astrológicos y su influencia directa en nuestras vidas, y en la forma en que podemos utilizar este conocimiento en nuestro presente y futuro. Nunca antes me había interesado por la astrología, pero ese día ocurrió hace cinco meses. Desde entonces, Juanita es mi coach y solo tengo palabras positivas y de agradecimiento. Juanita me invitó a participar en su programa Libra 2026, año astrológico. Aquí dejo algunos momentos, un aperitivo de las respuestas que dio a mis preguntas generales sobre las expectativas de los libranos en los próximos doce meses.

A few months ago, at St Paul’s Cathedral in London, I had a life-changing encounter with Juanita Incoronato, an astrological coach with extensive experience in understanding astrological movements and their direct influence on our lives, and in how we can apply this knowledge to our present and future. I had never been interested in astrology before, but that day happened five months ago. Since then, Juanita has been my coach and I have nothing but positive words and gratitude for her. Juanita invited me to take part in her programme ‘Libra 2026, the astrological year’. Here are a few highlights, a taster of the answers she gave to my general questions about what Libras can expect over the next twelve months.

It’s 2026 and so much has happened.
We’re fine, staying positive.
How are you all?
I’ve been thinking that maybe I’ll start
spending more time in front of the camera, rather than behind it,
which has always been my favourite part.
What do you think?
Well, for those who don’t know me,
I’m Iggy. I was born in Venezuela,
in Caracas, where I grew up.
I moved to London in 2003.
I’ve worked in film and theatre, but my passion has always been music, which
has been linked to my video work, behind the camera, and more recently, since last year,
organising events here in London and in Europe.
I recently started working on something I really enjoy, in historic places here in London,
Some of the more relevant theatres and concert halls, places I love.
This allows me to continue producing my adventures.
I have a concern about what happened in Venezuela
on 3 January 2026.
This is my question: was what happened in Venezuela a coup d’état?

En 2009, desde Londres fuimos a El Carnaval de El Callao y grabamos material para la realización de un documental, el cual, por diversos motivos, quedó archivado. Hoy, con motivo de la visita a Inglaterra de los “Embajadores del Calipso de Venezuela”, pertenecientes a las históricas agrupaciones y —visita solamente posible gracias al extraordinario trabajo de la cantante y promotora cultural — tendré la oportunidad de mostrar por primera vez, desde su grabación hace 16 años una pequeña parte de este material, que incluye leyendas del Carnaval como María Lourdes “Lulú” Basanta, Kenton Saint Bernard y Carlos London, entre otros.

Agradezco a , mi compañero de , este fue un viaje que hicimos juntos, conjuntamente con y a Carmen Adames. También es un homenaje al gran fotógrafo y amigo Isidro Nuñez, quien fue parte de nuestro equipo y falleció inesperadamente a las pocas semanas después del Carnaval.
