YANG STYLE TAI CHI CHUAN
After a 2-year hiatus, Tai Chi and Qigong classes restart next month from 7th October. They will take place on Wednesday evenings 6:30-7:30pm at Drayton Manor High School in Hanwell W7.
I will be introducing a different teaching format which will involve classes synchronising with the seasons – hence the name change to “Four Seasons Tai Chi”.
Each season will have a different emphasis and harmonise with that distinct time of year, complimenting the changing weather / temperature to maximise the health benefits.
Tai Chi Chuan (Supreme Ultimate Fist) will remain the core ongoing practice, but other complimentary arts (internal and external) will be taught alongside so that classes are continuously evolving and challenging.
I have practiced authentic Yang Style Tai Chi for over 25 years and highly recommend for anyone who desires good health, vitality, and longevity.
Tai Chi and related Chinese exercises have wide-ranging benefits for many health disorders – the largest review of its kind confirms the evidence for this, as summarised in this recent Guardian article:
