Photos from Lindamood-Bell London, UK's post 01/05/2026

Forty years ago, we set out with a belief that every child can learn to read when given the right tools.

Since then, we've witnessed the impossible become possible. Children once told they would “never be good readers” becoming fluent. Students finding confidence as they decode, comprehend, and even fall in love with books. Families moving from fear to relief to joy, sometimes in just weeks.

When we founded Lindamood-Bell in 1986, the science was still emerging. We built our work on the idea that reading is sensory-cognitive, that the brain must see and feel language to truly understand it.

Forty years later, the science is catching up. And we are still here, watching minds change one learner at a time.

Enjoy a look at Lindamood-Bell today, along with some special throwback photos of co-founders Patricia Lindamood and Nanci Bell! Learn more about our journey at the link. https://bit.ly/4tTRtzU
