We held our Annual General Meeting 2025 yesterday, and what a lot we packed into a day! From electing a new chair and club captain, presenting our 'Penguin of the Year Award', to presenting an Achievement Trophy, and even getting in some training for our new helpers! The Halliwick Association of Swimming Therapy (the UK's national Halliwick association) is starting a brand-new programme for new helpers within Halliwick clubs. It consists of six videos, and questions that go along with the videos. Those that complete the programme will be awarded a certificate by Halliwick AST. At the moment, they are piloting the programme, but any Halliwick club that wants to can email the address shown to express an interest for when the programme is rolled out more widely.

We are very pleased (and incredibly proud) to share that William Wyatt has been awarded an honour - Member of the British Empire (MBE) - in the King's New Year Honours List 2025.
