The race has been held annually over the Easter Weekend since 1948.The race is 125 miles long and has 77 portages.
The Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Marathon is one of the most demanding endurance events on the planet. 125 miles by kayak or canoe non- stop.On the 30th of March 2013, David Horkan and Jim Mescal will be taking on the challenge for AWARE. The famous county steps the last hurdle after 125 miles. :)
