Yoga, meditation and Inner Qigong classes in studio / Zoom. An independent studio based in Brixton.

There are classes for beginners, yoga for pregnancy, mum and babies and older bodies. There are a variety of styles including: Iyengar, Yin, Yinyasa, Restorative, Vinyasa, Flow, Dharma. We also have experienced psychotherapy and Shiatsu practitioners based at the studio.

Sudhi teaches a strong hatha class on Fridays at 11am .

It is an opportunity to practice with a teacher from Mysore, India, on a regular basis and to learn the practice from an authentic lineage.

In this class Sudhi focuses on the foundations of yoga asana practice. Alignment, breath, concentration.

If you usually go to vinyasa classes, it is worth trying this class. There is a lot you can take from it into your regular practice.

Amy is hosting one of her popular Slow Down & Sound workshops on 8 November 3-5pm. A blend of mindful movement and deep relaxation 🌸🌸

The session begins with a gentle, meditative yoga practice designed to release tension, improve flexibility, and cultivate a sense of calm. Guided by flowing movements and conscious breathwork, the aim is for you yo transition into a tranquil state of ease 🧘🏽‍♀️🧘🏽‍♀️

The workshop concludes with a restorative sound bath, where the soothing tones of crystal bowls, rainstick and chimes wash over you, promoting deep relaxation and inner balance. It was such a pleasure to host Dr Seth Powell today, leading us through a sūtra study workshop. Thank you Harshini for arranging this.

We were fortunate to see the film at a screening organised by which included a Q & A with one of the Directors, Michael T Workman. If you haven’t yet seen this film, do make time to watch it.

This film brings hope. It shows how impactful the student encampments were in changing public opinion on the genocide in Gaza being perpetrated by Israel. And in shifting the debate around Palestine / Israel. It is a study in highly effective activism and a very well made film.

Join us for a special philosophy workshop designed for dedicated yoga practitioners and teachers who are eager to deepen their understanding of yoga beyond the mat. Led by renowned yoga scholar Dr. Seth Powell, together we will engage in a close reading and study of one of yoga’s most ancient, important, and mis-understood scriptures.

The Yogasūtra of Patañjali, written some 1,500 years ago, is the earliest extant systematization of Yoga philosophy and practice. Rendered into 195 short, dense, Sanskrit “threads” or sūtras, the Yogasūtra is the root text for the Yoga philosophical tradition. It is a profound treatise on the nature of the human condition which examines: the cognitive mechanics and psychology of the mind-body, the cause of human suffering, and offers a map of psychophysical practices that can be cultivated in order to obtain complete spiritual freedom or liberation.
In this workshop, designed for both beginners and long-time students alike, we will focus on the first and second chapters (pāda), which treat the definition of yoga, the nature of the mind, the cause of suffering and its cure: a detailed “eight-limbed” (aṣṭāṅga) system of yogic practices.

Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the history, theory, and practice of yoga as outlined in Patañjali’s Yogasūtra–and a better sense of how the yoga we are doing today relates (or not) to this ancient Indian philosophy.

The police showed no urgency to make arrests yesterday in Parliament Square. This man had to wait patiently until 9:20pm to be arrested, for supporting the right for direct action against a genocide. Finally resorting to asking to be arrested next…

The 30th march in London for Palestine since October 2023. It helps so much to come and see and hear like-minded people. It helps to manage the devastating grief and hopelessness we experience. We are not alone.
