An incredible week providing medical and pitch-side support for the Sh**un Women’s team at the Safari 7s.

From early morning prep and taping, to on-field injury management and recovery sessions, it was a full-on week ensuring the squad stayed healthy, strong and ready to perform. 💪🏽

Huge respect to the players and staff for their professionalism, resilience, and energy throughout the tournament — an amazing experience being part of this environment and supporting the growth of the women’s game internationally. 🌍🏉

Back in the UK and straight into the next block — but Kenya definitely delivered something special.

Taping can serve as multiple purposes, to promote better movement, provide stability of a joint or even act as peace of mind / placebo to enable a player to play better.

Planing and processes have a place in all aspects of development.
As I have learnt, “it’s better to be an over cooked white belt than an undercooked blue belt”
What this means is trust in the process and don’t rush it, it’s better to wait and extra week to ensure that you are stronger than jump back in too soon and risk an injury again.
