EATON HOUSE SCHOOLS COMMENDED FOR 4 AWARDS IN THE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL OF THE YEAR AWARDS, 2026

Despite a record number of nominations this year, Eaton House Schools has been commended for 4 awards in the Independent School of the Year Awards, 2026. They are:
⭐️Independent Boys’ School of the Year, Eaton House The Manor Boys’ School
⭐️Independent Prep of the Year, Eaton House The Manor Girls’ School
⭐️Independent Girls’ School of the Year, Eaton House The Manor Girls’ School
⭐️ Small Independent School of the Year, Eaton House Belgravia.

The organisers say that has been another fantastic response to the call for nominations for the annual awards, with hundreds of schools – many of them new to the competition – submitting entries across 25 award categories.

‘It has been a year of innovation and creative thinking from the Heads and staff at Eaton House Schools,’ says Principal, Alison Fleming. ‘We are delighted to be nominated for these awards, which reflect that, and the joy that our incredible pupils take in learning. We have even more to offer next year, as our Eaton House The Manor building works are unveiled. Watch this space!’

A list of Finalists will be published on 10 September and the winners, chosen by the Independent Schools of the Year judging panel, will be announced at an awards ceremony on 14 October.

The Independent Schools of the Year awards are designed to give independent schools an opportunity to celebrate and showcase their extraordinary achievements, and 2026 has been no exception. They say: ‘The innovative and life-affirming student experience which independent schools provide to their students is awe-inspiring and the stories told in the entries are both moving and humbling.’

🎉8000 followers and a heart full of gratitude ❤️. Thank you for being here, reading our posts and engaging us, we don’t take it for granted. Every follow means the world!

A brief introduction for this who are new here!
👋🏽 I am Rohini, and I have been running Clapham Mums for nearly 8 years (and as an independent local business for the last 5 years). I have two little bosses who keep me on my toes!

Our goal (I say we but it’s really only me 😉) is to help busy parents use us as a one stop directory of what’s on in Clapham / Balham / Battersea and neighbouring areas and to provide local businesses with affordable advertising options to attract the hyperlocal community. We work with businesses to get exclusive deals and discounts for our readers: win for our readers with our free membership card and for businesses to get new clientele.
‼️Sign up for our free membership card using the link in bio ⬆️ and if you are a local business, message us to advertise 😊.

5 things about me:

❤️ I love coffee and tea with equal measure! I got lucky with a husband/ barista who brews the best filter coffee. My favourite cafes in our neighbourhood (not sponsored) are Hopper Coffee Wandsworth , Story Coffee , Lane Eight Coffee , , 2LOVE CAFÉS | Specialty Coffee & Bakes and Fresh Ground London .

❤️ Food is a passion - I watch food reels and scout TOPJAW for restaurant inspiration! My favourite locals (not sponsored) are TAMILA , KIBOU Battersea | Japanese Restaurant & Bar , Cheeky Chicos Bar & Restaurant , and Lina Stores in Battersea/ Clapham.

❤️ I am petrified of pigeons and I think they sense it 😨

❤️ unpopular opinion: I never got into Harry Potter or Game of Thrones (don’t hate me!)

❤️ I love festivals- Diwali and Christmas are my favourites. I find New Year’s Eve and Halloween overrated!

This is our passion and labour of love and Instagram isn’t always kind to us, so please engage with us - share, save, comment and recommend us if you like what you see! ❤️
