Tower Hamlets Canoe Club AGM is due in two weeks time on Tuesday 14th May at Shadwell.

Big thanks to all who took part in and donated to our Throwline Olympics. We had fun practising throwing techniques and lots of silly games, whilst raising money for TowerRNLI Lifeboat Station Appeal, and Shadwell Basin Outdoor Activity Centre. Many thanks to Above & Below outdoor equipment shop for helping to make our event so successful and fun by very kindly donating prizes.

November 1st - a good opportunity to see a film about pushing boundaries, overcoming obstacles, paddling and places.

Against The Current - Raindance Film Festival 2021 - Genesis Cinema Mon 1 Nov

Members of the THCC paddled on the non tidal Thames as a treat, visited Hampton Court, Sunbury on Thames, and achieved SUP Sheltered Water award. Great day.

River was wonderful tonight. With HW at 20.30 we had a free ride all the way to London Eye, before heading back down again.

A slightly different paddling for some of our members at 🌳🌳🏝 one evening after work.

Last Saturday the conditions were such that an outing to Selsey Bill had to happen. Six members of the club met in the Selsey Bill car park for two hours of intensive paddling, surfing, bouncing, rescues, self rescues and rolling.
The tiderace was playfull, the weather warm, woderful.
For some paddlers it was their first time and an introduction to tiderace fun.
