It’s hard to talk about happiness when the world feels like it’s on fire — but that is precisely when the work matters most.
💕
There is a principle in physics called entrainment, first observed in the 17th century, it shows that two pendulum clocks placed near each other would, over time, begin to swing in perfect unison. A stronger, more coherent vibration will always draw a chaotic one into sync with it.
The same is true of us.
🙂
When we allow ourselves to be swept up in the noise — the fear, the outrage, the frantic scrolling — we become part of the friction.
But when we choose to hold a frequency of stillness, we become something far more powerful: a stabilising force.
A calm at the centre of the storm.
🌀
Every time we choose silence over noise, presence over panic, calm over anger — we are not just helping ourselves. We are also shifting the collective field around us.
As within so without.
☺️
Mystics, physicists and contemplatives across centuries have pointed to the same truth: one person rooted in stillness can have a radius of influence far beyond what the eye can see.
💪
Every time we choose to show up — in practice, in nature, in community — we are making a conscious choice to be a positive force in the world. Not by doing more but by being simply present.
🥰
There are a few places left on the Happiness Journey — a morning of yoga and brunch by the sea, this Sunday 22 March, 9am–12pm at Northshore Seaside Suites.
📩 Drop me a message to reserve your space — cash payment at Northshore secures your place.

The “Happiness Journey” isn’t a destination—it’s the practice.
🌿
Just because I named this event ‘The Happiness Journey’ doesn’t mean I have it all figured out.
🤓
I’m not an expert in happiness, and this isn’t about handing you a formula for “happily ever after.”
😁
If anything, preparing for this has reminded me of a truth I hold close: My work is my practice. My life is my ashram.
The real Yoga doesn’t happen in a perfect handstand; it begins the moment we step off the mat and into the messiness of our daily lives.
This event is simply an invitation to ask yourself one of the most honest questions you can:
What does happiness actually mean to me—right now, in this season of my life?
🤔
The inquiry doesn’t wait for a perfect moment. It lives in the doing. It lives in the choices we make when no one is watching.
Whether you join us on the 22nd or not, I hope you sit with that question today. And when the answer stirs, commit to it like your life depends on it.
Swipe through for a glimpse of ONLY some of things that light me up and a look at the beautiful space and are sharing with us.
🧘
See you on the journey. ✨

The Happiness Journey with Lisa — a morning of pure reset
Move. Breathe. Reset. Shine
Sometimes we just need to stop, breathe and come back to ourselves. This is that morning.
I’ve named this event the Happiness Journey because this is what yoga invites us to do again and again — live better and more fully.
Join me on Sunday 22nd March at , Hodges Bay, for a morning of movement, breath and stillness — ending with a beautiful sharing brunch prepared by the team
We’ll move through a dynamic yoga practice, explore the transformative power of breathwork, and rest into Yoga Nidra — one of the most deeply restorative experiences you can give your body and mind.
Limited mobility? You can absolutely join us for the 30-minute Yoga Nidra + brunch experience.
✨⭐️✨
Known as ‘enlightened sleep’, a single 30-minute session is said to equal up to 2 hours of deep rest — making it one of the most powerful antidotes to insomnia, overthinking and sleep debt that exists. You simply lie down and let it work.
Available to EVERY BODY — including those with limited mobility who are welcome to join for the Nidra and brunch only.
This is the first of a series of events toward happiness

Questions……
1
After 13 years of practice, I still ask myself this question. Here’s what I’ve discovered:
Showing up on the mat has become my anchor.
It’s the one constant that grounds me no matter what’s happening in my life—a source of safety when everything else feels uncertain.
Unlike other habits that fade when life gets messy, my practice stays.
I show up whether I’m joyful or heartbroken, energised or exhausted, calm or overwhelmed. Some days it’s a vigorous flow.
Other days, it’s gentle restoration.
But I always show up.
2
Alive. That’s the first word that comes to mind.
The ability to move—to truly inhabit my body, even on the stiff, achy days—reminds me that this beautiful instrument wasn’t made to sit idle.
It was made to be used, celebrated, and enjoyed through every season of life.
Yoga is about honouring where I am today, knowing tomorrow will be different.
And that feeling never gets old.
3
Lighter. More spacious—in both body and mind. Energised yet calm. Happier.
I can count on one hand the times I’ve left my mat feeling worse than when I arrived.
No matter how tight, stressed, or scattered I feel when I start, something shifts. Every. Single. Time.
Now it’s your turn.
What keeps YOU coming back to your mat?
How does your practice make you feel?
How do you want it to feel?
Drop your answers in the comments below, I’d live to know
And if you’re ready to experience this for yourself, I’d love to have you join me:
🧘♀️ Gentle Hatha – Wednesdays, 7:30pm GMT
🧘♀️ Vinyasa Flow – Sundays, 10:00am GMT
Both classes are online, so you can practice from anywhere. Link in bio to sign up.

PAAWS regrets to announce we will shortly be suspending all operations due to dire financial straits.
The shelter will be run entirely by volunteers from September 1 while we work to rehome the 31 dogs and 19 cats currently in our care.
The shelter is open to visitors Tuesday to Saturday from 10am-4pm.
Please do call in and meet our four-legged residents - all of whom are in desperate need of a permanent home.
We would like to say a special thanks to all of our supporters who have helped sustain us over the last 30 years - and ask for your continued support while we assess our finances and determine our next steps.
This is the official statement for PAAWS, an animal charity that’s been operating tirelessly to reduce the overpopulation of strays in Antigua for 30 YEARS!
🐕🦺🦮🐕
Their work and dedication has been unrelenting.
💪
They now need help!
Donations, adoptions, volunteering if you are in Antigua.
☺️
People often ask what can we do to make things better, enraged tourists vow to never visit the island after witnessing the cruelty and neglect inflicted on these animals, many complain and post sad emojis, NOW YOU CAN HELP.
I have 407 followers, if each and everyone of you donates $5, €, ECS, PAAWS will at least have enough money to rehome the 32 dogs they are looking after.
You can donate via PAYPAL on their website paawsantigua.com
Don’t let them down.

✨ When Two Paths Finally Meet… ✨
Calling all yoga teachers!
📣
For over 30 years, I’ve walked the path of language — interpreting between Italian andEnglish.
