AUTUMN YOGA RESET: Reclaim Your Rhythm. 🍂

4-Week Progressive Course • Mondays in Ealing • Starts October 5th!

Drawing on yogic and Ayurvedic approaches to seasonal transition, we use intentional movement, breath awareness and meditative and purifying practices like Nāḍī Śodhana (alternate nostril breathing) and Trāṭaka (candle-gazing) to help you move from summer’s busyness into a calmer, more grounded autumn rhythm.

✨ THE DETAILS
Mondays: 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th October
Time: 6.15–7.15pm
Where: South Ealing YMCA, 25 St Mary’s Road, W5 5RE
Fee: £49 for the full 4-week course

Mixed level, all welcome. Free parking on site.

✨ WHAT TO EXPECT
Each week builds upon the last, moving from outer physical release to deep inner stillness:

- Week 1: Yoga Basics
Build a steady foundation through breath awareness and foundational postures.

- Week 2: Decompressing the Spine
Release physical tension through functional mobility and traditional postural sequences.

- Week 3: Mental Clarity & Focus
Movement followed by intentional candle-gazing to cultivate concentration and support mental clarity.

- Week 4: Complete Integration & Rest
Gentle movement followed by a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra practice for rest, stillness and integration.

🌿WHO THIS IS FOR
Those who need a boundary to shut down the stress of the day, or anyone seeking to create an hour for themselves to decompress on a Monday.

Anyone carrying mental heaviness, fatigue or seasonal restlessness who wants a practice that restores rather than drains.

Beginners and experienced practitioners alike. This is a mixed-level space where the emphasis is on your individual experience, rather than physical performance.

VATA SEASON 🍂

There is a distinct moment in September when the air changes, and the body quietly asks us to change with it. 🍃

If you’ve spent the summer pushing yourself, feeling over-stimulated, and rushing to keep up with a pace that no longer fits, autumn offers a natural permission slip to pause.

The shift happens in the small things: the warmth of a morning bowl of spiced porridge, lighting a candle as the early evening draws in, and trading the rush of the day for stillness on the mat.

Ayurveda reminds us that we are part of nature. When the season dries and cools, our nervous systems crave warmth, routine, and grounding. 🕯️

How we manage this pause can move us closer to the life we desire, or back into the same old habits. Habits become our destiny.

Are you noticing a need for an inner rhythm shift?

Ready to slow down, or are you fighting the transition?

My 4-Week Autumn Yoga Reset is a bridge for you to become intentional with your focus and actions. In-person classes in London. 🍁

DM ‘Autumn Yoga’ or link in bio for booking details.

A little drama for it to read like poetry… but in Vedic philosophy the mind, Manas, is not itself an illusion, but its content is what we mistake for reality.

What the mind projects and what we mistake those projections for, that is the illusion. That is Maya, the cosmic veil.

The breath returns you to truth.

When the five senses and the mind are still, and the reasoning intellect rests in silence, then begins the highest path. This calm steadiness of the senses is called yoga. Then one should become watchful, because yoga comes and goes.
