It's been busy at the Turners stand in Guildhall London. A pen made by a SEND school student was gifted to the Duke of York, who loved all the turned goods on offer. The Duke purchased an apple in spalted beech by maker . The Lady Mayor also made a purchase. The Master Andy Ewens and professional turner Stuart King were on hand to answer all the detailed questions.
Past Master Christopher Scott is also raising money for the Army Benevolent Fund, selling his recently published first novel, United in Valour.
Michael Hockney, Co Chair of the LMBCL is photographed with the Duke of Gloucester.
As ever, thanks to our wonderful turners for supporting this event by providing such beautiful and unique items for sale.

Our Master's Consort Gerry Ewens hosted a fabulous lunch and woodturning event in the beautiful St Vedast church in London. Les Thorne provided the demonstration, entertaining and informative as ever. One lucky guest went away with the demo piece, a beautiful bowl.
