Endometriosis is a very troublesome condition, resulting not only in infertility but pelvic pain, painful periods, heavy bleeding and bloating to name a few.
Nutritional therapy has been shown to work wonders for people with this condition.
Systemic inflammation, xenoestrogens and gut health are major mediators for endometriosis. Thankfully, these can be addressed by adjusting what you put in your mouth and how you live.
Physiological birth has been shown to be a great healer for endometriosis as the uterus goes then thorough a remodeling process. How amazing is that?!!!

Save and share this post to someone diagnosed with PCOS.
PCOS is a very common reason for infertility in women as it results in anovulation and inadequate egg maturation.
PCOS is a disorder that many women experience. The good news is that there is so much you can do to manage it naturally and possibly heal it completely.
A combination of clinical symptoms lead to its diagnoses being elevated androgens in the blood, menstrual cycle irregularities and poly cystic o***y morphology in ultrasounds.
According to allopathic medicine, the root cause is unknown but certain conditions contribute to its onset and usually blood glucose medication is prescribed.
Functional medicine, however, looks at a wider spectrum of contributors to the disease.
For example, exposure to endocrine distrusting chemicals in the uterine have been shown to link to later onset of PCOS.
Specific genetic mutations that are linked with mitochondrial dysfunction are also linked to the condition.
Inflammation and gut health are MAJOR contributors to the PCOS. These are aspects that allopathically are not investigated or addressed.
What we eat and how we live can be a contributor or an eliminator of our conditions.
Working with a nutritional therapist you can go deeper into all these topics and address them so that you go beyond masking the symptoms and find true healing.
and nature has given us what we need. We only need to remember what we are truly part of.

Emily’s gentle christening 02/09/2021.
We dreamt of a christening that would be gentle and really feel like the cleansing and purifying water ritual that it is meant to be. Salt water and flowers for the ritual bath felt right. Sand on our feet to ground us.
We are grateful for who founds us the right place and the sweetest priest. They created the most gorgeous space at the beach for a feast, with fire and water, under the crescent moon.
Miss Emily Lima enjoyed it very much and everyone else did too.

You have no idea about the power you tap into when you birth in your power.
You have no idea of the difference it makes for your child to be born at their own time, at their own pace, in their own rhythm, with the natural occurrence of events.
You have no idea how much difference it makes it will make to your psyche and every cell of your physical body to let it do its thing.
Without people checking on you constantly as if your body doesn’t know.
Without ‘experts’ putting their hands into your yoni to come to conclusions that probably won’t serve you.
Without ANYONE else touching your newborn child but YOUSELF. You are all they need.
Without unnecessary talk over your head.
Without anyone deciding for your body, if it works or not.
Without anyone intervening to what is already going to happen, as if you are faulty.
You will be reborn. Stronger beyond imagination.
Transformed. Without even trying. Without even realizing.
This rite of passage, this initiation will hold for you the biggest lessons. The deepest healing.
But you need to prepare for it. You need to work for it. You need to reprogram your mind from the years of programming you had to not trust yourself and the process.
You need to hear new stories, those of women who have birthed in their power.
You need to get educated. Learn how bit to works.
You need to seek support from those who trust the process.
And then it will make so much sense
Why you do not need to be cut
Why you do not need to be on your back
Why there is no rush
Why it is safe.
For when a woman births in her power
She transforms
She is unstoppable
And when a baby has a respectful birth
Gets a better start to life
And there is less trauma
Less wounds to heal
Less stories to unpack
How would it look like if you birthed in your power?

Did you know that forcing babies into positions they are not yet ready to take creates negative impact to their development and embodiment?
By allowing babies to come to the developmental milestones at their own time, we ensure that one they “achieve” those milestones they will have fully embody them. The first milestone is the baby turning in their tummy from their back. If we put babies on their tummy (tummy time is very popular) then they do not get the opportunity to try the movement for themselves.
And why does this matter? If babies are born without being able to go on their tummy straight away is because they are not meant to. And that they will WHEN they are ready. And to get to their tummy it takes time and effort. And effort is important. And trial and error is important. This way the baby figures out their body. Learns how to use their muscles. They learn movement. They FULLY embody the movement.
So what do we need to do to help our babies??? Nothing! Just place them on their back, on the floor. Without things hanging on top of them. And without placing them in baby bouncers.
Tummy time came about because of the flat head syndrome as a result of putting babies in baby bouncers and with things hanging on top of them. So babies could not really move their heads in all directions.
If we put babies on the floor and allow free movement there is no chance of baby’s head getting flat.
You do not need to put your baby for “tummy time” because they are not ready to be on their tummy yet. Unless they are ready to go on their tummy, which they will do on their own if given the opportunity to get there. And that will mean, they were ready! And they will fully own this important gross motor skill as well as other aspects in their emotional, intellectual and spiritual development.

Pregnancy yoga was a game changer for me during pregnancy. Not only it helps to support a healthy pregnancy but it massively helps to prepare for birth.
Birth needs preparation. In pregnancy yoga classes we prepare the physical body for the birth marathon, as well as the breath body, emotional body and mind body.
Sharing space with other pregnant women who are on different stages of pregnancy is also truly precious. We realize we are not alone, that many women have come before us and after us. And we are all there to hold space for each other.
I practiced pregnancy yoga every so how day during my pregnancy and I absolutely believe it contributed to my seamless pregnancy and life-changing birth experience.
Can’t wait to connect with the pregnant goddesses tomorrow.

Optimal nutrition for pre-conception, pregnancy and breastfeeding is crucial. Vitamin D status is imperative! The fortis and newborn baby are entitle dependent on their mother for adequate VitD supply.
‼️Vitamin D deficiency in pregnant women is estimated to be 40-80%.
‼️Mother and baby are more prone to deficiency towards the end of pregnancy.
‼️deficiency of VitD increases chances of pre-eclampsia development.
‼️VitD inadequacy can affect the baby’s risk of developing diabetes, cancer, heart disease as well as insulin resistance and low muscle mass.
‼️ VitD deficiency may compromise the baby’s bone health and brain development. Adequate intake can ensure stronger teeth!
Breastfeeding mamas need to supplement with VitD to ensure the baby gets enough unless she spends enough time under the sun. Supplementation for the baby is also recommended. Formula milk is fortified with VitD so there is not need for supplementation.
Pregnant mamas also need to supplement.
It is always important to consult a nutritional therapist in pre-conception, pregnancy and postnatal care to ensure both mum and baby are thriving.

I am Eleni, I am a mama of a 1 year old baby girl.
I am a yogini and have been teaching yoga since 2014. I love teaching vinyasa and I adore teaching pregnant women.
I am obsessed with pregnancy and birth... and babies. I recently completed my doula training to be able to attend births and support families into this rite of passage.
I love working with women. Women who have lost touch with their bodies. Women who want to become mamas. Mamas to be. New mamas. Women who are confused about how to take care of themselves.
I believe in the body’s wisdom, it’s innate capacity to heal itself. I trust in that. I reach out to herbal medicine, homeopathy and micronutrients first.
