The founder of Finity Works is a British Engineer and a former motor vehicle/motorsport technician he combines an extensive engineering background (Motor Vehicle Engineering) and CAD design with a passion for cycling, with in-depth bicycle industry knowledge to create an innovative and performance enhanced bicycle hub.
For more than 2 years, Martin has been developing the ZR hub, he always believed there was improvement to be gained from the ratchet system in particular the noise that comes from the conventional mechanism. Martin believes yes! you need to be at one with your bicycle and to know how it feels but also you need to be at one with your surroundings! and with a mechanical click it distracts you from why you go out riding on those quiet country lanes in the first place. And to be honest a loud click is so unnecessary!
From the initial concept to the finished design the quality and engineering excellence has been implemented through out the process now in our final years of patent application we can proudly and finally bring to you the worlds most efficient rear bicycle hub.
