Design the American Rendezvous 2026 Swirl!

Every year our American Rendezvous event in Boston brings a unique take on the legendary PKGen Swirl, created by an individual artist!

The ARDV logo is a unique design that can be adapted to a number of different media. It must fit the following requirements to be used:

- Swirl: The design must feature the PkGen swirl in some capacity, whether in the shape of the logo or in some other prominent manner.

- Shape: The shape of the design must not change or modify the shape or dimensions of the PkGen swirl, and must allow the swirl to still be easily recognized as a brand logo.

- Versatility: The design must have a 1-2 color version that allows it to be affordably recreated via screen printing. Additional versions may be included to feature additional colors.

- Spirit: Ideally the winning design will feature some element that differentiates the design from previous versions and offers some connection to the spirit or ethos of parkour practice.

The Process 🎨

1) Pitch - If you have an idea for a logo, put together a rough sketch and reply to this email. We’ll set up a time to talk and I’ll go through the nitty-gritty of the actual requirements for the logo to make sure that it fits within our brand standards. Pitches due by 2/1.

2) Selection - Once all of the pitches have been received, the ARDV planning team will select the final design for this year’s event. Designs that are not selected may still be green-lit for other projects or put in “The Swirl Vault” for next year’s ARDV! Selection will be made by 3/1.

3) Design - The design itself will likely go through a few tweaks and iterations before it’s ready. This is to make sure that it fits the specific needs of the event and is able to live on in various formats after the event. Final Designs due before 4/1.
