What’s the difference between a heritage brand and a brand that’s just old?

This week we were back in the Imagination Labs recording the upcoming episode of our FYI podcast.

This time, we had the pleasure of welcoming Laura Sileo Pavat, Global Brand Homes Director at Pernod Ricard (tuning into the studio directly from Paris), alongside our own Lisa Riordan, Creative Director.

Hosted by Tom Gray, the conversation took a deep dive into how brands can leverage heritage to their advantage and bring their history to life through brand homes and live experiences.

Drawing on real-world examples from across the Pernod Ricard portfolio, through to iconic luxury and fashion houses, the conversation explored practical ways heritage brands can use their archive, stories, and ambassadors to drive emotional and cultural relevance both today and for centuries to come.

Stay tuned for the full conversation coming soon!

When confidence is low, why are brands still betting on being in the room?

The latest IPA Bellwether Report shows Q3 2026 marketing budgets up +14.3%, the strongest in more than two years. Within that, events are once again outperforming other channels.

Our Chairman and CEO, Patrick Reid, shared his perspective with Campaign Magazine: “At a time when geopolitical tensions are rising, economic power is shifting, and technology is rewriting the rules, bringing the right people together has never been more important. Organisations are prioritising investments that build long-term reputation, deepen stakeholder and customer engagement, and cultivate genuine brand trust.”

Striking out hunger, one pitch at a time.

To mark World Food Day, we’re reflecting on our recent work with Visa to help fight food insecurity.

As the Official Payment Services Partner of the San Francisco Giants, Visa has teamed up with the Giants and the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank every year since 2011 to deliver ’Strike Out Hunger’, an annual fundraising campaign combining community service with lasting social impact.

When the Giants recently took on the Minnesota Twins, we helped Visa bring this year's campaign to life with a bespoke visual identity, event content, and pop-up experiential elements designed to create a sense of occasion and drive donations from the ballpark to Visa’s Mission Rock HQ.

Before the game, former Giants players and World Series champions Hunter Pence and Sergio Romo visited Visa’s offices for a fireside chat with employees. Meanwhile over at Oracle Park, fans had the opportunity to tap and donate, getting exclusive merch in return.

We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this year’s fundraising campaign to life, using creativity and community as a force to help end food insecurity.

A great tournament leaves more than memories.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 gave Visa and Bank of America the opportunity to create an impact that extends well beyond the final whistle. In partnership with Street Soccer USA, we transformed underused spaces across 13 cities into vibrant community soccer parks, giving young people safe places to play, learn, and connect.

Each new park was celebrated with a launch event that brought together local communities, civic leaders and partners, creating moments of pride while marking the beginning of something built to last.

We’re proud to have helped bring this vision to life and create a legacy that will continue long after the tournament’s end. Thank you to our teams and partners at Visa, Bank of America and Street Soccer USA.

What can art teach experience design?

When shaping physical spaces and destinations, an artistic lens uncovers what data often misses: the deeper layers of culture, community, and landscape.

As Ceylan Belek Obregt, Partner at Martha Schwartz, points out on our latest episode of FYI - there’s no place with nothing. Even universal phenomena like wind and light carry stories that can inspire design.

If we focus too much on the science of how an environment functions at the expense of creativity and imagination, we risk losing what makes a place thrive for both the public and developers alike.

An iconic new era for Jaguar, and an electrifying reveal that brought the city that never sleeps to a standstill.

This week in New York, Jaguar launched the new Type 01 with a synchronised film and live arrival sequence that quite literally brought Manhattan to a halt.

Before the main event, anticipation built as screens and LED light shows illuminated Times Square, DUMBO, and the Lower East Side. Guests inside the STORIED venue in West Chelsea then watched on-screen footage of the Type 01 traversing the city. As the film concluded, Formula E driver António Félix da Costa drove the physical vehicle live into the venue following a run down closed roads along the West Side.

The theatrical reveal echoed Geneva in 1961, when Jaguar's E-Type famously drove from the UK across Europe for its debut. Sixty-five years later, that same spirit hit the streets of NYC.

We’re proud to have been involved in such a monumental moment in Jaguar’s story alongside Sassy+ and WPP, and grateful for the continued trust and collaboration in this exciting new chapter for the brand.

Streaming platforms are becoming cultural venues, competing for the biggest moments in entertainment.

Netflix paid Rockstar Games for a six hour exclusive window on the GTA 6 trailer before it went to YouTube. In four days it pulled 31.1 million views and 14 million hours of watch time, and Netflix added over 100,000 new US subscribers in the run-up.

Global Chief Strategy Officer, Tom Gray, sees the same pattern behind Netflix's fight nights and its rights deals with the WWE, NFL, and MLB. The platform is building custom ad inventory around moments people already want to watch, from venue signage at live events to a trailer premiere for one of the most anticipated games ever made.

Global ambition shouldn't cost you local relevance.

In a recent LBBonline - Little Black Book article spotlighting the Middle East's sharpest strategists, our own Sara Faisal shares how cultural understanding became emotional engagement for the Banyan Tree AlUla launch.

Bringing together landscape, music, storytelling and hospitality, the launch showcases strategy at its best: guiding an experience from the first idea to the final detail.
