Our annual late summer Bank Holiday tournament did not disappoint. A lovely afternoon of fabulous tennis with great friends. All good things come to an end! A great summer term of tennis concluded with fun tournaments across the adult groups (although Wednesday missed out because of the footie!). Thanks everyone for taking part. Tuesday’s group saw Wendy victorious followed by Claudia coming out on top in Friday’s fun tournament. Thanks everyone for taking part - great fun, as always! Hi Everyone 👋 Summer holidays are approaching fast and you are no doubt looking for some fun ways to entertain the kids. Look no further! We are now taking bookings for our summer holiday tennis camps for ages 5-13. All abilities welcome as children are put into age/ability groups. A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Open Day on Saturday, whether that was on or off the courts, coming along to play (some of you ALL DAY 😅) or volunteering to do a specific role. Due to privacy reasons, we can’t share all the photos we took and they don’t do the day justice but, honestly, the courts were packed all day! Great job!

Thank you also to our coaches (Ray, Dan and the Young Leaders) for their commitment and resourcefulness on the court, accommodating everyone and anyone who came to play in such a fun and relaxed manner.

The result of the team effort was a fabulous day of tennis, family fun and laughter which is testament to the Club that we all treasure. We already can’t wait for next year 🎾🤩

The weather is looking perfect for our ‘play tennis for free’ Open Day on Saturday 9.30am-3.30pm. Come along and play some tennis, join in our fun games or try out cardio tennis. All ages welcome and no experience or equipment required. Just be prepared for fun! BBQ will be fired up for brunch onwards and the bar and teashop open. We can’t wait to show off our lovely, friendly club 😀🎾 Please try to walk to us if you can as the road can get very busy. If you do drive, please park responsibly to respect our neighbours and leave driveways clear to allow access.

Congratulations to Grosvenor LTC member, Sue, on her London Marathon finish. Sue completed the 26.2 miles in 7:10.05 and raised nearly £1,200 for The Aplastic Anaemia Trust. She is really grateful for the support from the many club members who encouraged her in the past 7 months of training. Well done, Sue - a fantastic achievement! 🏃‍♀️

It was a fabulous afternoon of tennis at the Club today.
