Risk vs reward changes after 40.

You can still train hard. You can still look incredible.
But the goal isn’t “do more”… it’s “get the result without getting broken”.

A few examples from the video:
• Hammering extra chest/back days can light up old shoulder issues and make posture worse
• Running 20–50 miles a week on concrete “because marathon season” is a fast track to niggles becoming injuries
• Chasing a 200kg deadlift gives you bragging rights… but 150kg for quality reps gives you 90% of the benefit with a fraction of the risk

Over 40, the win is consistency.
Training you can repeat beats training you have to recover from for months.

One of the best parts of group training is the culture. Javier helped create it.

36 weeks of training, back-to-back phases.

Most people think actors have it easy. Truth is, they get hit by the same metabolic slowdown as the rest of us and Ralf was no different……that’s a lie he actually smashed it even when he wasn’t doing exactly as he was told 🤷‍♂️
When Ralf came in, it wasn’t just about vanity or chasing abs. He just wanted to bulk up a bit up top and balance out his upper body with his powerful football legs. The man’s been filming abroad, travelling nonstop, working stupid hours, dealing with jet lag, stress, and the usual over-35 realities that chip away at your body without asking permission.
So we ran him through the full testing battery—muscle mass, body fat, metabolic function, the lot. No guesswork. No ‘PT eye test’. Hard data.
Then he did what most men think they can’t do any more.
He grafted. Properly.
Not with punishment cardio or starvation diets—but with structure and more random burgers than I would initially have suggested.
Strength programmed around his phase.
